Blue October Songs & Greatest Hits

Blue October has plenty of killer tracks under their belt. It’s part of why they are such a popular rock band and such a big part of the concert season every year. But, these are our favorite songs and our reasons why.

“The Girl Who Stole My Heart” is a very sweet Christmas song about a woman who stole the narrator’s heart. So he’s trying to find the perfect gift for her for the holidays. We can’t imagine a sweeter gift than this ballad, especially when you hear the relaxing and love-charged guitar and drums mixed with the heartwarming lyrics.

“Into the Ocean”  is a hot fan-favorite that earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. It’s written from the view of a person wanting to escape from the world  and is an emotionally charged melody about a man’s self reflection his life and what he got wrong.

“Calling You” is another excellent song that peaked at 35 on the Hot Adult Top 40 tracks chart. The song was included on the American Wedding soundtrack and was later remixed in 2007. It’s a story about a man trying to connect with a long-lost love. It’s a sweet ballad and is the best showcase of Justin Furstenfeld’s skill on the mic.
